  1. I am interested in the ebook feature of this book, because my copy of the first edition with all my post its in it looks like a copy of the Yellow Pages meanwhile! :)

  3. PDI in the REAL world (a rare thing in publishing these days) - I like that it deals with MongoDB and that it deals with optimizing data flows, a topic that can be tough to find information about.

  4. I have always been a fan of the first kettle book by Packt, I am glad to check out this second edition. Chapter 9: Integrating Kettle and the Pentaho Suite looks very interesting.

  5. Hi Juan,

First let me congratulate you for your blog. Even today, with all the information at our grasp, it is hard to find specialized content like the one you are offering here. I'm sure all Kettle users will be happy to read your articles to be up-to-date with Pentaho products and learn your ninja tricks.

This days I'm learning to use Talend Open Studio and Enterprise version too. I would really like to have one of the books you are giving away because I find very convenient to compare the Kettle way of doing things vs. Talend TOS from a practical perspective. I'm specially interesed in chapter 2 and 5 because, at our company, we are automating stuff with plain files. I'm also willing to read chapters 7 and 8 because I feel this ones will show me how powerfull Kettle is orchestrating and reutilizing real stuff.

If i'm the fortunate winner of one book (I hope so!), I will give you my contact information privately.

    Best regards,

    Daniel
